This practice stresses using ujjayi breathing (breathing technique), mula bandha (core strength), uddiyana bandha (core strength), and drishti (focus/gaze). Tuesday evenings from 7:15pm to 8:15pm called “Living Your Yoga.” This class has organically formed as many of our students have expressed an interest in learning more about the yoga path beyond the physical postures (asanas). This is an opportunity to gather with like- minded people who want to explore the yoga path in more depth for personal and/or spiritual growth.. Each week we’ll introduce a topic (such as the individual parts that comprise the eight fold path from Pantanjali’s Yoga Sutras), have a short reading on the topic and then open it up for discussion. The class will be donation based and all are welcome (even if you’ve never taken a yoga class before!). The first class will begin on Tuesday, October 4 at 7:15pm and will be facilitated by Brenda O’Donnell. We look forward to seeing you!
